Wow, time seems to have flown by so very fast! In two days, I will be leaving Knoxville and a week later on Sept 15th, my team and I will begin our flights to South Africa. (I say 'flights' because we have more than one and boy oh boy are we going to be traveling for a long time!) I just can't seem to process how little time I have left with family and friends. It has really hit me hard this week, as I've felt pulled in so many directions. Honestly, I guess I didn't expect it to be this difficult.

 

I would like to ask that you pray for myself and my teammates as we all walk away from everything we know. Many of us have never left home for more than a week. Please pray that we come together during training camp, that we grow even stronger as a team than we have already. Please pray against petty differences and silly fights as we are all thrown into living together. I am so thankful for all of you and for the role you are playing in this journey. Thank You! I look forward to writing again as soon as possible.
