Ok so, I’ve taken far too long to write another blog. I really do need to start doing this on more of a regular basis-as we are required to update it atleast once a week while in Africa. That way, I can keep in touch with all you supporters, family, and friends. To help keep you updated when I do post a new blog, if you would like you can click on the “Update Alerts” link to the left. There you can enter your e-mail address and anytime I update this page, you will receive an e-mail.
This blog is a little late in coming as things have been a kind of hectic lately: work, church, family, support raising, paperwork, etc. There is so much to do and less than five months to do it in. It’s amazing to think that in that short amount of time, I’ll be in Africa. That reality is being made possible by all the wonderful people that have contributed to my support so far. As it stands, my support status is currently at just over 30%. I am so excited! God is doing so much and is using so many willing souls to move forward His plan. I feel very privileged to be part of all that God is doing and all that He will do.
At last count, our Adventures in Missions team was up to 18 members. That makes 17 other people that are going through the same “craziness” that I am. So, that’s 17 other people besides myself, that I ask you to pray for. I believe God has put an amazing team together so far and is continuing to work in the hearts of many more. So as my team and myself continue to raise support, spiritually prepare, and continue with the tasks of our “everyday lives” I ask that pray for: Sydney, Alene, Mahryah, Tyler, Matt, Ryan, Brittany, Andrea, Alyssa, Davie, Ellen, Gail, Hannah, Layne, Loretta, Amanda, Samantha, Sarah, and myself.
Thank you for your prayers and support!
“Craziness” would be a good word to describe what we’re going through, lol.
