Well, it’s here!! The money from the yard sale is in, the gifts I was given Friday and Friday night are in hand and the total puts me just $64.00 short!!! Woo hoo!! My family and I had miscalculated and thought we were actually over by $130. But still, wow!! I’ve basically got the 60%. In fact, I do have it! I will be sending in the $64 out of my own money. God is sooooo good!! He always provides. He is always faithful.
As for the 40% in monthly support, most of it is already covered. In fact, I’m just $80 short. (I apologize if I’ve told anyone a different amount. I’ll be honest, I’m horrible with numbers. lol)
I am so thankful for everyone that has given towards my trip and will continue to give! God is using you!
The only other expense I’ll have is the trip home for our two-week Christmas break. It is not mandatory that we come home for that break so, the cost for it is separate. If we can raise the support for it, that’s ok. If we can’t but would still like to come home, it would be an out-of-pocket expense. The tickets, at this point, could be anywhere between $1,700 and $2,000. My family will be doing what they can to bring me home. Our family has never been apart on Christmas and they don’t want to start now. If anyone could give anything towards that, please e-mail me. Again, thank you all so much! God is good all the time!
